Legrand provides a number of support options to suit any size organisation.
System Requirements
Common Requirements for PRO and CORP editions:
Supported operating systems for the desktop or laptop computer are Windows XP Pro or higher, Vista Business and Vista Ultimate.
Windows XP Home and Vista Home are not supported.
Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 6 or higher must be installed; Internet Explorer 7 is recommended.
Microsoft Office 2003 or higher is required as Legrand CRM uses Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and mail-merge.
The Legrand CRM Outlook Add-In was designed for Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. Previous versions of Microsoft Outlook are not supported. Outlook Express is not supported
Your computer should have sufficient memory in order to concurrently run Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Legrand CRM without performance issues. Minimum memory is 1Gb for a Windows XP computer and 2GB for Vista.
Additional information for Legrand CRM Pro Edition:
The database is based on Microsoft Foxpro tables. Sharing a database is simply a matter of locating the CRM data folder as a shared folder on the file server.
The shared folder must reside on a fileserver running Win2003 server operating system or higher.
If you do not have a fileserver and only 4 users or less need to access the Legrand CRM database concurrently, then you can use a workstation running Windows XP Professional as the de-facto fileserver.
Linux is not supported.
Additional information for Legrand CRM Corp Edition:
The Corporate edition is a Client/Server application that uses Microsoft SQL2005 server as its database.
An experienced SQL Administrator is required to install, configure and maintain SQL 2005 server.
The Microsoft SQL databases that are supported are all editions of SQL2005.
Microsoft SQL 2008 server will be supported from July 2009.
The SQL server licenses are not included with Legrand CRM.
